I use AutoHotKey for custom keyboard shortcuts. I use Rainmeter to display widgets on the desktop wallpaper. I use Windhawk to do further customizations, such as removing the start button from the taskbar and making the taskbar more compact. I use Open-Shell to replace the start menu with one that looks like Windows 7. I use Microsoft Powertoys’s Run feature to launch apps instead of using the start menu.
